Eric Speed – Maniac

Eric Speed is a young Canadian violinist who has succeeded in bringing the instrument to theXXI century and has covered pop culture.

At three years old, Eric receives a violin on his birthday. His interest in the instrument led him to take private lessons and join the Montreal Conservatory, where he completed his studies in instrumentation.

In September 2007, Eric participated in the “On a pas toute la soirée”, presented byEric Salvail. The audience loved musical style which led him to get the top spot. Hereturned to television for another talent show hosted by Guy Jodoin called “Sucré-Salé” (2008), winning the end.

The better example of his talent is the electronic version of the classic Michael Sembello, “Maniac”, which builds on and ride tribute to classic video games of 80 and 90, in a mix that is already reaching the top spot in the rankings of YouTube .
